Membership Terms and Conditions
North Georgia Camellia Society
By subscribing to a North Georgia Camellia Society membership, you agree to the following terms:
1. Membership Dues
Membership dues are $25/year for Individual and $40/year for Family memberships. Dues are due annually and cover a 12-month period from the date of payment. Membership does not automatically renew — you will need to renew manually through your member account when your term ends.
2. Refunds
Membership dues are non-refundable. If you believe a payment was made in error, please contact us through our Contact Us page and we will review requests on a case-by-case basis.
3. Use of Member Information
The information you provide when subscribing (name, email, and any other details requested) is used solely to manage your membership, send Society communications, and maintain our records. We do not sell or share your information with third parties outside of the services required to operate the Society, such as our payment processor and email delivery provider.
4. Communications
As a member, you will receive Society communications via the email address provided, including newsletters, event announcements, and membership-related notices such as renewal reminders. You may unsubscribe from general newsletter communications at any time, though some membership-related emails may continue as part of your active membership.
5. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to engage respectfully with fellow members, guests, and Society staff/volunteers at meetings, events, and in online communications. The Society reserves the right to revoke membership, without refund, in cases of harassment, abusive behavior, or conduct that disrupts Society activities.
6. Content and Photography
Members may be photographed or recorded at Society meetings and events for use in newsletters, the website, or social media. If you prefer not to be included, please notify an event organizer in advance.
7. Affiliate Disclosure
The North Georgia Camellia Society is an affiliate of the American Camellia Society.
8. Changes to These Terms
The Society may update these terms from time to time. Continued membership after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
